MacLean Homes today announced that it will be launching its Oceana
project in July 2009. The project has been on hold since last summer due
to the economic downturn. NextPhase worked with MacLean Homes to
rebrand the project, which was previously known as Seabreeze.
“We’re ready to launch Oceana,” stated Dave Webster, VP of Sales and
Marketing for MacLean Homes. “With the market beginning to rebound and
the project rebranded, we’re confident that buyer interest will be
strong this coming summer.”
Oceana is a condominium project located in Parksville, BC. NextPhase
positioned the project around the Island-living lifestyle and the many
opportunities it offers. As the development is a few blocks away from
the beach, we couldn’t claim a waterfront location. However, we did
communicate a waterfront feel through the use of text, images and sound,
plus a clever tagline – ‘A New Wave of Living’. The branding and
messaging focuses on the community aspect of the project – kilometers of
walking trails and a community garden on the doorstep.
“With the branding and marketing package produced, we’re confident that
MacLean Homes will be successful in selling out the project within the
first six months – even given the uncertainty of the housing market,”
said Ullrich Schade, President of NextPhase.
