The Canadian Institute for Market Intelligence’s (CIMI) mandate is to increase market knowledge, expand international market presence and improve the competitive standing of Canada’s advanced technology firms. Originally started in 1998 as an initiative of the NRC and IRAP program, CIMI’s image was dated. The Institute needed to rebrand itself to help fulfill its new objectives – including working with IRAP clients at all stages of development, from those at the initial concept stage to established firms developing innovative products and processes.
NextPhase created a new, clean and easily identifiable corporate identity that adhered to NRC’s standards. The marketing tools included a brochure, product sheets, PowerPoint presentation and poster that effectively communicated CIMI’s services.
CIMI has been in growth mode since completion of the new branding and marketing material. The organization moved to its own new offices, expanded its staff and broadened its scope of services. “The overall look and feel of our new identity and marketing material is a considerable improvement – and clearly communicates the services CIMI offers.” said Aileen McManamon, Executive Director, CIMI.
