NextPhase brands and positions retirement community to appeal to active, fun-loving seniors

Located in central Maple Ridge, Sunwood is a mature lifestyle community offering large private suites, extensive facilities and 24-hour on-premise access to help for residents if and when they need it. As a modern-age “retirement home”, NextPhase was contracted to develop a marketing communications program that positioned Sunwood as a fun place to live. All communications material centered around the positioning line “Independent Living. Help at Hand.” to emphasize that residents would not lose their freedom, but would gain safety, security and a social atmosphere. Initially marketed as condominiums, Sunwood also offered rentals in the later marketing phase. NextPhase continues to offer support to MacLean Homes’ marketing efforts though the addition of a blog, social media program and ongoing advertising.
