Challenge
Class Software Solutions had built its reputation by providing
program, facility and cost management solutions for the recreation,
leisure, and sport industries. The company was about to expand its focus
to include solutions for the city hall market where Class’s products
did not command the same level of awareness. NextPhase’s task was to
develop a comprehensive marketing strategy for strong and effective
branding, advertising and PR that would position Class as a leader in
the delivery of municipal government enterprise solutions.
Action
NextPhase developed a new corporate identity by updating the
existing logo, produced a new website, and created a high-impact trade
advertising campaign to establish Class as the market leader in its
product category. We also launched a media campaign, obtaining feature
article coverage in both business and trade publications.
Results
NextPhase helped Class define its market and effectively promote its
products by launching into a new market segment with a cohesive and
consistent message. Class was subsequently sold for $42 million.
