Chrysalix Energy invests in and supports clean energy
technologies that address the changing demands of the global energy
industry. Founded in 2001, it was a brand new company and needed to
create a profile in the investment industry.
Action
NextPhase branded the company, produced their stationery,
positioning line, website and brochure. The use of a butterfly in the
new identity tied in with the company name while selected corporate
colors reflected the green energy theme. The website and brochure
effectively communicated the value proposition that the new company
offered to both investors and portfolio companies.
Results
The Chrysalix Energy branding initiative enable the
company to solicit investment funds from large global investment
corporations such as BASF Venture Capital, Citigroup, Kuwait Petroleum
Corporation, Mitsubishi Corporation, Shell Hydrogen, Teachers' Private
Capital and Mellon Asset Management. The company has invested its funds
in such high profile clean energy companies as Angstrom Power Inc., Day4
Energy Inc., EnerWorks, General Fusion, Light-Based Technologies and
Polyfuel Inc.
